No! Not that kind of job! I don’t know what kind of job you’re thinking I got, but it’s not whatever you’re thinking, okay? I just mean I got my first freelance gig in a long time. I’ve made friends in the game development business, and one happened to need an editor. So, he turned to me. Yes, me! Just because I’m a writer doesn’t mean I can’t edit things! I mean yes, I just wrote two sentences in a row with exclamation marks that probably didn’t need them- but I’m just really excited, okay? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anyway, so yeah. I’m gonna be working hard editing for him… But I want you to know, that doesn’t mean anything’s changing. My progress may be slower than usual, but I won’t be giving up any of my creative endeavors. Even if I get another job or two at the same time, I won’t. (I may or may not be in the process of applying for a writing gig, too!) So yeah, just wanted to give you a heads up. And also shout into the void, because I actually got a job!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In other news! Camp NaNoWriMo is coming next month. My goal for April is 20,000 words- which is about 667 words a day. (So just a thousand less than an average NaNo day, lol!) I’ll be working on one of my old projects as usual, but this time I started writing it this month, so it’s going to be more awkward in a way. I’m working on The Dragon Bride<\/strong>. I’ll tell you more about it in a later post!<\/p>\n\n\n\n I’m also thinking of picking up a couple of my other game projects to go with Ramzowa. I know, it’s a dumb idea, but…. It all depends on a few things. Oh, also, I have to change a bunch of maps now that have fireplaces I planned on having lit because I messed up the flame character sheet somehow and so the flames I was using are missing! Hurray! (*crying internally*) The projects I’m thinking of picking back up, which depend largely on how much DLC I can afford later this month, include Alien Irony, Four Corners, and Magical Mayhem. Okay, so Magical Mayhem is actually an easier project and also doesn’t need DLC based on my minimal plans for it. But still!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Updates to Ramzowa<\/strong>: I finished the crafting system for now for the most part, though there’s a glitch in the menu I need to fix.
