This month has been a pretty big month for me work-wise. As you all know, I got my first freelance editing gig in a long time early this month. Well, I finished it last week, along with getting and finishing a writing gig. Both jobs were really fun, and I’m feeling more confident as a freelancer than I have in a long time. The question is, though, will I be able to get more gigs? If you have ideas of how I can promote myself better, feel free to tell me. I’d love more work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There’s one downside to taking on multiple jobs though: time management becomes a bit more of an issue. There’s also the matter of my attention span. Basically, to be blunt…. I got no work done on Ramzowa this week. With my work and another project taking my time for a bit, I put Ramzowa in the backseat of my mind for a little bit. To be honest, I was debating changing main projects all together! But today, after working on Four Corners all week and having a plethora of problems with it… I’m thinking it’s time to focus again on Ramzowa and Magical Mayhem… Because honestly? I thought Four Corners would be easier, but as it turns out, it’s not!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, yes. This week was a bumpy road- but it reminded me my priorities as far as projects go, and I am better learning how long certain tasks take me, too. I don’t have anything notable to report as far as game development goes in the end, but…. I’m having fun. So, there’s that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This week is going to be a fun one. I turn 30 on Thursday! Yep, the big three-oh. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have some ideas in the works regarding the site, too. I still can’t figure out how to get my editing services page to show in the menu, so I’m thinking of making a website solely for projects and services. What do you all think of that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
